The competition is open to all individuals aged above 18 years of age.

The contest is open to all legal residents of any country except, or otherwise, prohibited by law.

All participants must satisfy at least one of the following eligibility criteria:
(A) The team should comprise of at least one individual who has enrolled in an accredited college or University before 15th March 2012; or
(B) The team should not have registered their business before 1st January 2011.

There is no upper limit on the size of the contesting teams as far as the number of members of the startup is concerned.
